- 2-3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

- 1 tsp prepared horseradish optional, but adds a lovely kick
- Ice cubes
- For Garnishes:
- Celery stalk
- Lemon wedge
- Pickles olives, or pickled onions
- Bacon strip for an extra indulgent touch
Instructions
- Method:
- Prep Your Glass: Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of your highball glass, then dip the rim in celery salt to coat it. This adds an extra layer of flavor.
- Mix the Drink: In a shaker (or directly in your glass), combine vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, celery salt, and prepared horseradish (if using). Fill the shaker or glass with ice.
- Shake or Stir: If you're using a shaker, shake gently for about 10 seconds. If you're stirring, mix until everything is well combined.
- Taste and Adjust: Before pouring, give it a taste. If you want it spicier, add more hot sauce or a dash of Tabasco. If it's too strong, splash in some extra tomato juice.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass (if shaken), or simply pour it over ice if you stirred in the glass.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Add your garnishes—celery stalk, lemon wedge, pickles, olives, and bacon if you’re feeling fancy. These little extras make the drink both tasty and visually appealing!
- Variations:
- Bloody Maria: Swap vodka for tequila, and you'll get a delicious south-of-the-border spin.
- Vegan Option: Use a vegan Worcestershire sauce to keep it plant-based (traditional Worcestershire contains anchovies).
- Low-Sodium Version: Opt for low-sodium tomato juice and skip the celery salt for a healthier alternative.
- Extra Spicy: Increase the hot sauce and add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a fire-kissed experience.
